It’s tough owning and/or managing a small or medium-sized business these days.
We get it.
And I’m sure like all of our UK for Good forward-thinking business members, you know there’s a better way.
The world has changed and as business leaders we need to adapt quickly, and effectively.
But where to start (a question we respond to every single day)?
Why not start your better business journey by joining our thriving UK for Good community of forward-thinking business leaders?
Our members come from a wide range of businesses and backgrounds, and have one common goal; to shape a cleaner, greener, fairer future.
They recognise that to build a successful business today means focussing on people, communities, and the planet, as well as profit.
People, especially young people, want to work for, buy from, and invest in businesses they can trust. Businesses that understand and consider their impact on people, planet, and profit.
At each of our monthly online meetings our UK for Good members learn from an expert speaker, who will share with us their better business journey, and encourage you to think about often simple improvements which will help you build your business successfully AND sustainably. Our meetings are highly interactive and give you an opportunity to discuss the pressing questions of the day in breakout rooms; it’s where the gold happens.
We also have a Charity Spotlight which gives a local charity the opportunity to talk to us about the work they do, why it matters, and how businesses can support them both financially and through volunteering.
Now it’s at this point you are probably expecting some kind of promo code or discount.
This is another reason why UK for Good is a bit different.
We don’t do discount, but we DO plant trees!
For every new UK for Good member who joins us in September we’ll plant a thicket of 25 trees on your behalf through our partner Ecologi
Your business name will shine in our UK for Good forest. There are 529 trees and we have reduced are carbon emissions by a whopping 8.3t – that makes us a carbon negative business 🌿
Are you in?
We hope so.
Next month our expert speaker is Kresse Wesling from Elvis and Kresse – one of the first B Corp Certified companies in the UK and maker of incredible bags and accessories with materials which would otherwise have gone to landfill.
Our Charity Spotlight features Charlotte Harris from Cheshire Wildlife Trust.
A meeting not to be missed.
Membership costs your business just £600 + VAT a year (until price increase in October) and that gives you up to four colleague seats at each of our meetings and events.
That works out at £3 a week per person – less than the price of a decent coffee….for learning stuff that will really make a difference, to you, your employees, your colleagues, your customers, and of course, the planet.
And here’s the button to join!
As ever, please ask Poppy if you have any questions.
